Sassy the cat

Sassy the cat was so kind to wake me before dawn again this morning. She's very serious about her food bowl. If it gets half empty, your rear end is coming outta that bed and feeding her. She's very persistent and knows how to get the job done. She's also lucky I like her because seeing how fast and how far a cat can fly has entered my mind.

It's been an interesting few days. Don't know if I'm awake enough to put fingers to keyboard to explain. The highlight of yesterday was going to Costco and....running SMACK dab into a pillar with the cart. Anyone ever seen these big column thingys there? We're talking huge building. I'm doodling along obviously quite serious about perusing the aisles and WHAP! Had to laugh at myself. I was up near the registers too so everyone got to share my joy. Too Funny

The girls and myself spent the night in the big town of Dunn, NC night before last. Or was it the night before that? Thinking Seems like we ended up at Max's house again Monday eve. It was late and I needed to deal with the light people the next day. Made the mistake of thinking outloud about a hotel and that was all Jenna needed. She became more excited than a fly at a watermelon festival. There isn't anything near Max's house so we ventured to Dunn which is about 15 miles away. On yon way toward Fort Bragg if you've ever heard of it. Still a good distance unless you're a crow but...

The only place in town to buy clothes after 9 p.m. is Walmart. Ain't got no Target; just Wally World. Okay, so as my years have advanced, I've become less than thrilled with the latter. The twitches start as soon as I get in Walmart parking lot. Something about that store just.... But! A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

We ventured in there and bought us some clearance clothes, shampoo, and all that good stuff. Stayed at the Jameson Inn which was quite nice. I knew the girls would end up in bed with me so went ahead and got a king. They had a bath that morning but when one is in a motel one simply must take a bath right? Besides, they had CITY water. Woo Hoo! Got us well water chicks right excited. After a bubble bath we commenced to snoozing.

That's about all I can muster at the moment. Nathan got a new toy while we were "down the country." Now coming up the driveway there's a humongousable garage type of thingy. He had one already to house two of his trucks but this one is better ya know. I Dunno It's sitting cockeyed so when the wind comes down the hill......... Hmm It's enclosed and....well, guess he's happy anywho.

Supposedly I get to inherit the old one for Bertha. Nevermind Bertha is so big it just might not fit under it. Max's tractor, lawnmower, and Caleb's truck will probably end up with it and Bertha will have to fend for herself. Pouty

What is today anyway? Thursday? Regardless, HAVE A GREAT ONE!

Our little Minnie is very vocal like that as well, but she likes to insist she be let out at about 5:30AM or so. She'll sit there and yowl and of course it's pitch black outside and she's NOT going out!

A night in the motel sounds like fun with the girls. I should do that sometime....just go for a ride and decide to stop somewhere! ;-)
