Another Day in Paradise...

*yawn* Ya know, I feel let down. Those housecleaning fairies are yet to show up during the night. Go to bed with a messy house and wake up to a messy house. Pouty In fact, it seems more messy. Me thinks the wrong fairies are visiting. Oh Jeez Life sucks but the vacuum cleaner won't unless you turn it on.

There's a handy dandy exercise machine in the living room but my butt is still big. Thinking What is the deal people? I mean really....

Gotta go downtown Raleigh to see the investment dude. Get to be locked up in Bertha to/from with my other half singing "Bringing in the Sheep." That's his theme song. Should be a merry old trip. Blah

Y'all take care now ya hear?

Evening.....

I'm in heaven. Son #3 has been combing my fur for at least an hour. Nevermind I'm paying him to do it. If I could purr I would.... Blings

It's 1:34 a.m......

And what are you doing here hum? I'm tired but don't wanna sleep. Want to clean/straighten/move stuff around in the house but DON'T wanna at the same time. So....here I sit like a toad frog on a log.

Ribbit Frog 5

It's Monday....

Road Rage and I'm grumpy as usual. The fact that that smilie is supposed to be AFTER the first sentence makes me even grumpier. Old age stinks.

Got so much to do and don't know where to begin. We did manage to go to the birthday party yesterday ON the right day. Twas fun it was. Took lots of pictures. Some were okay. When I compare them to other peoples pictures they rather stink though.

Anyway, HAPPY MONDAY! Hope you aren't as grumpy as me. Hopefully I'll return in a better mood but don't hold your breath. ;-)

Don't know if this will work.

I created another Kodak account hoping I could link you guys to pictures cause I'm too stupid to figure out how to do it on here. JENNIFER! I need your guidance!

See if you can view pictures through here without having to sign in. http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=3rzofvlz.4ajb3nd3&x=0&y=t6g0aa Looks like it's asking you to sign in but doesn't require it.

Good Morning....

I was awoken this morn by a small blond wanting me to put tennis shoes on a cat. What a way to start the day so early in the morning. *yawn* Guess it's time to get at it again. TODAY we're REALLY going to little cousin Paydin's birthday party! Jump For Joy Wonder what adventures will transpire?

Old age sure is interesting...

So! Attempt to get "Bertha" halfway clean, scrub up the girls & myself, load up and head toward my cousins house for the birthday party. First, I get lost in the 'hood.' I'm cruising all around the 'hood' looking for his house. I've only been there once before and theirs is one of the few which is finished. Everything else is construction.

I drive by this certain house which I really thought was it but there are no cars, no peoples, no nothing. Keep searching. Call my parents house cause I had left the invitation at home; of course. Call the sister of the cousin in which I seek cause she's the only cell phone number I have in my cell phone. Leave her a message about being lost in the subdivision blah, blah, blah. Go back by that same house again and there's this man beside the garage that REALLY looks like my cousin. That smilie at the beginning is supposed to be in this spot. *slapping forehead*

The cobwebs in me head start spinning and I'm thinking....that really looked like Johnny but why would he be working in the garage during a birthday party. Pretend the same dumbfounded looking smilie is in this spot too. I turn around and go back to this suspected house. When close realize it IS Johnny and pull into the driveway. He walks over, hey, how ya doin' yadda yadda yadda....and then goes...the party is tomorrow. Insert fainting and most shocked smilie.

Okay, so I had to laugh. I mean really. I've been telling EVERYONE that we're going to the party Saturday; everyone. Even posted on here last night. That's the story of my life though. Always a day late (or early) and a dollar short. ;-)

So....got my females in my ride and figure it's time for us girls to go shopping. They've been wanting to go to Build A Bear for a while to add to their evergrowing collection. Mind you, the only Build A Bear is WAY away but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. Here we go. Finally get there and find somewhere to park "Bertha" which is no easy feat at Crabtree Mall. We waddle into the mall, each of us carrying a "hocketbook" of course. Jenna called pocketbooks "hocketbooks" when she was little and it stuck.

Jenna picks out a rabbit and Barbie chooses a pink cat. Princess cat it's called. Of course... They do the little dance & jig to "build" them and off we go to "blow them off" and comb them. Well, ya know, a cat and a rabbit MUST have clothes to wear. Barbie picks out a pink sequin top and a pink skirt to go on her pink cat. Ya know the cat has to have shoes. Pink flipflops are added. Jenna's rabbit is carefully dressed in a jean skirt and yellow print top complete with a brown belt. You do realize of course that a rabbit who wears clothes MUST have a cell phone in order to call all her rabbit friends to inform them of her new outfit. Since the rabbit got a phone you know the cat HAD to have a phone as well. $89 later we leave Build A Bear. My new grandchildren are "Polly" (cat) and "Rosabella" (rabbit).

We wander around a little bit and head on out. Phone rings. Son #1 says the lights have been out over an hour and they aren't expected to be on till 8:30. In no hurry to go home to a hot house we go downtown Raleigh to Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Tis for the good of the family of course. Phone is steady ringing one person or another from the time we leave the mall. Get home and load up the rest of the brood and head back to Zebulon. Some want Pizza Hut, parents want Subway, gotta get something at Food Lion.... Come back home and the lights are on. Very glad since my other half goes beserck if they so much as blink much less stay out for hours. We picked a good day to go to a party on the wrong day. ;-)

So....bored yet? It's 9:19 p.m. Early for this household. Forgot to mention son #1 hanging out of the moonroof, sunroof, or whatever that thing is in the front of "Bertha" on the way home. Oh yea, we're high class folks.

Happy Saturday morning! Yea, bah humbug.... Need some smilies on here. Blah Ooo! Wonder if it'll work? It's showing for me anyway.

Planned to get up early. Didn't. Need to be outside washing "Bertha (Expedition)." Haven't as yet. Gotta get the princessess bathed. Haven't. Shall I continue? I should know by now to never make plans cause they rarely transpire. Or, they don't happen in a timely manner. I seem to function best when under pressure. ?????

Well, that seems to be it. Ain't much huh? Caleb & Barbie have gone with Paw Paw to breakfast so I should seize the moment, grab ye merry ol' vacuum cleaner and head outside in the hot and humid environment to suck the dirt outta my Low Rider which my darling little angels have deposited there. MUST get some gravel in my spot. Tis mainly gone and Bertha can't help but get dirty.

Okay, off to sweat.

Mr. Bean's Holiday

Anyone else go see this movie today? I about laughed till I cried in parts of it and couldn't really explain why it was so funny. ???? Maybe it was his expressions. They're award winning. lol! I do love going to see a movie in the theater. All of us enjoyed "Transformers" and "Wild Hogs" as well this summer.

The dryer works! My daddy came down today and put in a new pipe/vent thingy for the dryer. It's been a pain in the boodie for some time. It was just bought in February or so but has never worked right. Come to find out, the people who built this joint majorly screwed up. So, Paw Paw to the rescue again. SO nice to have a washer & dryer which work! I won't elaborate on how much lint was in the tube and under the floor.....

Debbie, the school situation is still up in the air. The only kid I know for sure his future is Caleb who is enrolled in an online academy. This year should be interesting for sure.

We go to our little cousins first birthday party tomorrow. Rather excited actually. I've been so involved with the inlaw side of the family the past few months that there has been little time for my side. I hope I can drag out my much neglected camera and would be very pleased with a few good pictures. Not going to hold my breath though. The last pictures I took about a month ago sucked donkey do. When I grow up I wanna take pictures like some of my online buddies. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

It's midnight and I'm fixing to turn into a pumpkin. Night Night!!!

Back again....

This thing is addicting. Spoke with one of the owners about the business just now. Tis looking good.....

I lied

I'm back already. Just learned something. DO NOT click on "next blog" at the top. Great day in a snakes head! I'll never do that again! YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Once more this morning and...

I'll leave ya alone. Contemplating something. The ladies who run this http://www.nearlynewclothingexchange.com/ are going to 'retire' and are selling it. We haven't talked nitty gritty yet, but am thinking about buying it.

Thoughts?

The newbie shows....

Just ventured over to my good buddy Jennifer's blog and hers makes mine look sick. The "newb" in me shows. Gonna have to pick her brain to get super hip like her. ;-)

I have arrived!

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? I have a blog! WOO HOO! I have arrived!

Now what do I do? I lead a most boring life. Always on the go but never accomplishing anything. Kinda like a fart in a whirlwind. Think of my Pop everytime I say that. Miss him....

Exciting news this week? Got a new washing machine. Gots me one of them there front loader gizmos this go round. Since I've killed two washing machines in the past six months..... Figgered I'd best break out the big guns this time. Son #1 pointed out that we could have bought two new computers for what that thingamajigger cost. Hubby said it outta wash his butt considering the price tag. I told him to get in it. I'd close the door and we'd see. >:-) Sure hope I don't forget to let him out......

Speaking of hubby. He woke me up about 2 or so this morning plundering around in the bathroom looking for scissors. Haven't been able to go back to sleep since. Needless to say, he's on my poop list at the moment. He was cooking a steak on the grill about 4 a.m. Oh yea, I'm the one with mental problems....

Guess I'll go put my eyeballs in. Presently sporting my one-armed glasses which resemble the bottoms of a Coca-Cola bottle. I'm too sexy for my spectacles....

Shall hopefully return later if I can remember the link and/or password.
